Athletic Fields - Softball field, Soccer, and Track
Big Cat Stadium
Located next to the PE Center, Big Cat Stadium features synthetic turf, collapsible field goals, full lighting for night games, a concession stand, an announcer’s booth with a high quality public address system, and convenient parking. The grandstand seats up to 1,000 people, and bleachers add another 400 seats.
Cougar Sports Center
The Cougar Sports Center houses basketball and volleyball courts, a weight room, and the competition and diving pools. The gymnasium has served as a large group gathering space for conferences, reunions, and an indoor concert and entertainment venue. The facility may be rented for tournaments, camps, and special events when not used for University of Minnesota Morris academic and athletic purposes.

The Regional Fitness Center is a non-profit organization located on the campus of the University of Minnesota Morris. We provide a welcoming atmosphere to help you reach your fitness and wellness goals.

George C. Fosgate Black Box Theatre
The George C. Fosgate Black Box Theatre is a perfect space for more experimental and intimate theatre. It has flexible seating for up to 175 people. This space is used for both performances and classes. Located in Humanities Fine Arts.

Edson Auditorium
Located in the Student Center, Edson Auditorium is a 475-seat theatre style auditorium perfect for lectures, presentations, performances, movies, and concerts. It is on the historic building registry of the West Central School of Agriculture (WCSA). The facility features a soundboard and sound booth, as well as moveable lighting on stage.
Humanities Fin Arts Room 6
A medium-sized classroom with fixed auditorium seating for 60 located in the lower level of Humanities Fine Arts. It is ideal for lectures with presentations and displays.

Imholte Hall Auditorium
Located in Imholte Hall on the campus mall, the Imholte Hall Auditorium features classroom-style seating for 90 people and full media capability. It is used mainly for classes, lectures and presentations. Imholte Hall is one of the campus buildings listing on the National Registry of Historic Places as part of the West Central School of Agriculture (WCSA) and Experiment Station Historic District. The renovated building reflects campus heritage in the rich, dark woods, art, and display cases featuring WCSA artifacts.

Proscenium Theatre
Located in Humanities Fine Arts, The Raymond J. Lammers Proscenium Theatre was designed by Ralph Rapson, famed for his design of the original Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis. It seats 346 people and features a large stage with a light and sound booth, 31-set fly system, orchestra pit, trap door, side stages, and a spiral staircase going up to a "Juliet balcony." This space is used for both performances and classes. (built in 1973)

The Science Auditorium, located in the Science and Math Building, features fixed auditorium seating with tablet chairs. The room has full media capacity including full-wall white board, computer projection, and P.A.

Located in the lower level of the Science and Math Building with convenient access to the Student Center tunnel, this medium-sized classroom auditorium features fixed table seating and computer projection.

Oyate Hall
Located in the Student Center, Oyate Hall is a beautiful ballroom facility that overlooks the campus mall. With a seating capacity of 250, it is perfect for wedding receptions, dances or meetings. Oyate Hall features hardwood floors, full-length windows, vaulted ceiling, and a fireplace with lounge chairs and sofas.
Oyate Hall can be divided into three separate meeting rooms—Alumni Room, Cougar Room, University Room—each with the flexibility to be setup in a variety of configurations such as audience-style seating, display tables, classroom, dining, and boardroom.

The Alumni Room seats from 20 to 30 people with the flexibility for setup in a variety of configurations such as audience-style seating, display tables, classroom, dining, and boardroom
University Room
The University Room seats from 50 to 100 people with the flexibility to be setup in a variety of configurations such as audience-style seating, display tables, classroom, dining, and boardroom.

The Cougar Room seats from 30 to 60 people with the flexibility for setup in a variety of configurations such as audience-style seating, display tables, classroom, dining, and boardroom.

Humanities Fine Arts Lobby
Morrison Gallery
The Edward J. & Helen Jane Morrison Gallery is centrally located in the main floor in the Humanities Fine Arts Building. Ranked as among the best of galleries on small liberal arts campuses in the United States, the Morrison Gallery is a showplace for five to six exhibits scheduled during fall and spring semesters. The artwork features professional artists from all parts of the nation as well as Canada who work in various media of painting, printmaking, photography, sculpture, and mixed media installation projects. During April and early May, two exhibits showcase the work of Morris studio arts students.
Science Atrium
The Science Atrium, located in Science and Math Building, is a lovely gathering place with high ceilings and skylights. With a capacity of 50-70 people, the space works well for a display area or small receptions.

Imholte Hall 112
A variety of campus classrooms in various sizes are available for rent when not being used for academic purposes. The classrooms in John Q. Imholte Hall feature moveable bench tables with chairs for flexible set-ups. All classrooms in Imholte Hall, as well as other campus buildings, are equipped with "smart" touch-pad technology for easy computer and DVD projection.

Campus Mall
The large green area in the center of campus serves as an outdoor space for formal events such as commencement and weddings to informal concerts, social gathering and recreation.

A large green area located behind the Education and Science and Math buildings. Suited for picnics, casual gatherings and recreation.
Science "Hidden" Garden
Located behind the Science and Math Building, the “Hidden Garden" features a bubbling pond and natural landscaping. It is an ideal site for an intimate outdoor reception.
Tug Lake/Pond
Green area linking Clayton A. Gay Hall, David C. Johnson Independence Hall, and the Dining Hall. Ideal for informal gathering spot in the summer; in the winter it is transformed into a skating pond.
