The University of Minnesota Morris welcomes Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) members with a streamlined path to a world-class liberal arts education. Recognized on the 2026 PTK Transfer Honor Roll, UMN Morris is officially ranked among the most transfer-friendly colleges in the nation.

Direct Admission Through PTK Connect

As a PTK member, you can bypass the traditional application hurdles. Through PTK Connect, eligible students can receive proactive admission offers from UMN Morris, often with waived application fees and a response within two weeks.

How to Get Started

  1. Check PTK Connect: When you see the Direct Admissions icon on the UMN Morris PTK Connect profile, select it. We will then send you a link to our onboarding form via email.
  2. Submit the onboarding form. The form replaces our full application and includes when you plan to transfer and your program of interest. Plus, it's free!
  3. Submit Transcripts: Send your transcripts directly to the UMN Morris Office of Admissions for a rapid credit evaluation.
  4. Provide Proof of Membership: Ensure your PTK membership is documented to automatically secure your $1,500 PTK Scholar Award. This could be a screenshot of your membership certificate or an email from your PTK advisor. Please email documentation to [email protected].
