The University of Minnesota Morris welcomes Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) members with a streamlined path to a world-class liberal arts education. Recognized on the 2025 PTK Transfer Honor Roll, UMN Morris is officially ranked among the most transfer-friendly colleges in the nation.

Direct Admission Through PTK Connect

As a PTK member, you can bypass the traditional application hurdles. Through PTK Connect, eligible students can receive proactive admission offers from UMN Morris, often with waived application fees and a response within two weeks.

How to Get Started

  1. Check PTK Connect: Log into your PTK Connect profile to see your direct admission status and explore exclusive scholarship matches.
  2. Complete the application to indicate your interest for Fall 2026 enrollment. NOTE: The onboarding form for Spring and Fall 2027 enrollment will open on August 1, 2026.
  3. Submit Transcripts: Send your transcripts directly to the UMN Morris Office of Admissions for a rapid credit evaluation.
  4. Provide Proof of Membership: Ensure your PTK membership is documented to automatically secure your $1,500 PTK Scholar Award. This could be a screenshot of your membership certificate or an email from your PTK advisor. Please email documentation to [email protected].
