Steps to Apply
Apply Online using UMN Morris application.
The application fee of $30 cannot be waived, but you can submit the fee via credit card, U.S. check, or money order directly to the Office of Admissions. NOTE: If you participate in an exchange program, you are not required to submit the application fee.
Have official transcripts from your secondary school and/or college sent directly from the school to our office with a certified English translation if they are not originally written in English.
- Submit Official Score Report for proof of English language proficiency.
Send any additional information (optional).
You are welcome to include extra materials like written statements, letters of recommendation, resumes, and portfolios that you feel would help us get to know you better. We encourage written statements if there are any extenuating circumstances we should take into account when reviewing your application.

- May 1 Priority application deadline for fall enrollment
- June 15 Final deadline to submit enrollment deposit for fall entry

Steps after Admission
Save your place!
After you have been admitted and have determined that the University of Minnesota Morris is where you want to attend, confirm your enrollment by paying the $175 nonrefundable confirmation fee online. NOTE: If you participate in an exchange program, you are not required to submit the confirmation fee.
Submit the following documents to receive your I20:
- Complete the financial certification information.
- Submit a bank statement.
Upload a copy of your passport.

Under the “Application Next Steps” tab in your student application portal. From there, you will be able to request housing, schedule a distance registration to sign up for classes, and complete the necessary steps to become a UMN Morris student.
