A single step that will change your life.

Step 1: Confirm your Enrollment

Ready to reserve your spot at UMN Morris? Return the confirmation card included in your admission packet with a $175 non-refundable confirmation fee or pay the confirmation fee online with a credit card. Once we receive your confirmation, you will be able to request housing, schedule a registration session, and complete the necessary steps to be a UMN Morris Cougar.

Step 2: Apply for Financial Aid

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the only application needed to receive federal, state, or institutional financial aid at the University of Minnesota, Morris. *Complete the FAFSA anytime after October 1 but before the March 1 priority deadline be considered for all available funding.*

Steps to filing the FAFSA:

  1. Complete the FAFSA online. Include our Federal School Code (002389) so that your results are sent to Morris.
  2. Sign electronically with your FSA ID. If you are a dependent student, you and one of your parents must both sign the FAFSA.
  3. Click the "Submit" button
  4. Print/Save the confirmation page for your records.

We understand that incoming students and their families will have questions regarding their financial aid. A helpful resource page is available to assist you. Step 3: Apply for Housing

At the University of Minnesota, Morris, more than 90 percent of first-year students choose to live on campus. The Office of Residential Life is committed to creating a positive residential living experience—a vital complement to Morris's academic programs.

Step 5: Send Official Transcripts

Send your final high school transcript, with the date of graduation to the Office of Admissions by July 1st.

Submit official transcripts for any college courses and/or AP/IB examinations you've taken. This way we can give you credit for work you've done through PSEO, CIS, AP, or IB.

Confirm your Enrollment by June 1

Congratulations on choosing Morris! To claim your spot, you will need to confirm your enrollment by submitting a $175 deposit online or by check.
