Join Us for the NASS Welcome – August 16, 2025
Kick off your academic journey with confidence by participating in the NASS Welcome, part of the University of Minnesota Morris Welcome Week. This program is designed to support incoming Native American students as they transition into college life, while building a strong and supportive network of peers, staff, and faculty.
Students move into the residence halls early on Saturday, August 16, and celebrate the start of their college experience with a special welcome and opening luncheon for students and their families. The NASS Welcome offers new students the opportunity to connect with the Native American Student Success (NASS) team and other students. After NASS welcome events, students and families join campus-wide Welcome Week festivities – a formal kick-off ceremony, first Welcome Group meeting, and family programs.
