Join Us for the NASS Welcome
The Native American Student Success (NASS) Welcome provides a meaningful first step into college life by connecting new students and their families with peers, faculty, and staff who will support them throughout their time at the University of Minnesota Morris. Students will move into the residence halls on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, before joining family members, faculty, staff, and fellow students for a traditional welcome and opening luncheon, in Oyate Hall, to celebrate the beginning of their college journey in a good way.
Following the NASS Welcome, students and families will participate in the University's Welcome Week activities, including the New Student and Family Welcome, Welcome Group meetings, and other campus events. Together, these experiences help students build meaningful connections, become familiar with campus resources, and develop a strong sense of belonging within both the NASS community and the broader Morris campus.
