Students may earn credit at the University of Minnesota, Morris by taking IB Higher Level exams. Approved tests are listed above, with qualifying scores. Students who complete an IB diploma with a score of 30 or higher and have no examination scores lower than four are awarded eight credits for each of three higher-level exams, plus two credits for each of three standard exams, for a total award of 30 credits. Higher-level tests with qualifying scores may fulfill general education categories, major requirements, or both. Standard-level exams that are not a part of the diploma do not receive credit, but may be used to determine placement in sequence courses.
