The University of Minnesota, Morris permanent art collection is made up of roughly 400 works. The majority of the works are on display in public areas on the Morris campus. The direction of the collection mainly functions and documents visiting artists work, faculty, and former studio art student work. Acquisitions are made yearly through exhibitions hosted in the Morrison Gallery. Additional collections reside in the Briggs Library, Student Center, Imholte Hall, and the Welcome Center. Permanent Collection Artwork is available to staff and faculty for display on campus through a generous loan program.
