The UMN Morris permanent art collection consists of roughly 400 works, the majority of which are on display in public areas on campus. The collection mainly functions to display and document visiting artists' work, along with faculty and former studio art students' work. Acquisitions are made annually through exhibitions hosted in the Morrison Gallery. Additional collections reside in the Briggs Library, Student Center, Imholte Hall, and the Welcome Center. Permanent Collection artwork is available to staff and faculty for display on campus through a generous loan program.
