Admission and Outcomes

When you follow this 4 + 1 integrated degree pathway, you will complete both your bachelor of arts and your master of science in just five years.

  1. Complete your bachelor of arts (BA) in mathematics from UMN Morris.
  2. As a UMN Morris student, you can apply for early admission to the BA/MS integrated degree program (4+1) with UMN Morris during your junior year.
  3. Take at least eight graduate-level credits during your senior year at UMN Morris, while also completing your bachelor's degree.
  4. Complete the master of science in industrial and systems engineering at the Twin Cities campus. The master of science in industrial and systems engineering is exclusively the industrial engineering track.
