UMN Morris has hosted several hundred people from across the state in the last few years to learn and share their perspectives on rural issues.

UMN Morris has made significant progress as a national leader in collaborative and innovative 21st-century liberal arts education. 

Associate professor Sarah Buchanan has been named the American Association of Teachers of French - Minnesota Chapter Teacher of the Year for the 2025-26 school year. 

To serve students beyond their time teaching, UMN Morris Professor Roland Guyotte and his wife are helping future history students through a scholarship.

In addition to a scholarship, the Eidsvolds chose to support UMN Morris with billboards that celebrate and promote the university.
