The Safety and Security Report is part of the University of Minnesota’s compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (informally known as the “Clery Act”).

This information is published annually by the University and made available to all current and prospective students, staff, and faculty. The report includes safety resources, crime prevention and reporting information, relevant policies, and annual crime and fire statistics. Statistics are compiled by Public Safety in consultation with the Morris Police Department and a wide range of university personnel, including the vice chancellor for student affairs, faculty/staff advisers to student groups, residential life, athletics and the violence prevention coordinator.
