TRIO Student Support Services

Mission

TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) is a U.S. Department of Education–supported program dedicated to supporting the academic success, persistence, and timely graduation of students who are first-generation in college, from low-income backgrounds, and/or students with disabilities.

The TRIO SSS program provides structured, student-centered support services designed to help students navigate college expectations and achieve their educational goals. These services include academic coaching and tutoring, financial literacy education and FAFSA assistance, career and graduate school planning, and guided engagement opportunities that promote consistent progress toward degree completion. Through proactive advising and coordinated support, TRIO SSS helps students strengthen academic skills, make informed decisions, and remain on track from enrollment through graduation.
