Jennifer (she/her/hers) received her bachelor’s degree from UMN Morris in Chemistry with a Biochemistry emphasis, and her doctoral degree in Chemistry focusing on research in Chemistry Education.

Jennifer has worked as an assistant professor of chemistry where she taught chemistry lecture and laboratory courses and provided academic advising to STEM students. Additionally, she has also worked as an academic recovery coordinator in an academic learning center and student affairs, where she trained faculty and staff academic success coaches and worked with students on academic recovery. Jennifer brings with her to UMN Morris a combination of her experience in STEM teaching along with her training in Student Success coaching to provide students with tailored study skills and success coaching to support their academic achievement and retention.

As a Transfer Pathway Navigator, Jennifer is excited to support transfer student success, matriculation, and career aspirations. Jennifer’s goal is to support transfer students by helping them navigate the transfer credit process. Jennifer’s passion is to provide high quality student success coaching and to build relationships with students. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, practicing yoga, walking her dog, and completing Wordle and crossword puzzles.
