Are the rooms carpeted?
All traditional residence hall rooms and Campus Apartments are carpeted. The Green Prairie Community has sealed concrete floors with one provided area rug in the suite lounges. Blakely Hall has tiled floors in each room.

Is there wireless internet access in my room?
Students can access the internet using either the wired or wireless network. Learn more about campus wireless.

What should I bring to campus?

Can I bring a refrigerator, microwave, etc. for my room?
Small compact refrigerators are allowed in resident rooms, not to exceed 4.2 cubic feet and not more than one per room. There is a full-sized shared refrigerator in residence hall floor kitchens, and each campus apartment has a refrigerator. Small appliances (microwave ovens, popcorn poppers, electric frying pans, broiler ovens, coffee makers, etc.) are not allowed in resident rooms, but may be used in shared kitchen areas. There are no air conditioners in rooms, but fans are provided. Please consult with your roommate prior to making plans for TV, refrigerator, etc.

Are pets allowed?
Pets are not permitted in the residence halls or apartments except small aquarium fish. Aquarium tanks cannot exceed five gallons in size.

What kind of laundry facilities are available on-campus?
Campus laundry facilities located in each residence hall feature high efficiency washers and dryers. Use of washers and dryers is free to campus residents.

Are there lofts/bunks available?
All campus bedrooms include loftable furniture.
