Ireland Concert Tour: Summer 2027
The University of Minnesota Morris music department invites you to participate in an unforgettable concert tour across Ireland in May 2027. This immersive program combines performance, cultural exchange and exploration of Ireland’s historic and scenic landscapes.
You will perform multiple concerts with Irish ensembles, engage in outreach and masterclass opportunities and experience some of Ireland’s most iconic destinations. The tour provides a meaningful opportunity to represent UMN Morris internationally while deepening musical artistry and cultural understanding.
Throughout the journey, you will travel through historic cities, perform in renowned venues and explore Ireland’s rich musical traditions.
Walk the Path of the Civil Rights Movement: Spring 2027
Step beyond the classroom and into history. This immersive January travel course takes you to the front lines of the African American Civil Rights Movement—where ordinary people made extraordinary change.
From Montgomery to Selma to Atlanta, you’ll experience the places, stories and struggles that shaped the fight for equality in the United States.

Costa Rica Study Abroad: Summer 2027
Transform your education through culture, community and adventure. Spend two unforgettable weeks in Costa Rica exploring vibrant Caribbean culture, contributing to meaningful community projects and immersing yourself in dance, sustainability and global learning.

Brunnenburg Semester: Fall 2027
Spend a semester living and studying in a historic castle in the Italian Alps. The Brunnenburg Semester offers an immersive, place-based learning experience that blends sustainability, culture, agriculture, and the humanities.
Students live at Brunnenburg Castle, a 13th-century castle overlooking the town of Dorf Tirol near Merano in the northern Italian region of South Tyrol. Surrounded by vineyards, orchards, and mountain trails, the program connects academic study with hands-on experiences in sustainable agriculture, environmental ethics, and cultural exploration.
This faculty-led program from the University of Minnesota Morris provides an opportunity to earn academic credit while engaging deeply with local landscapes, food systems, and communities.
