Student Engagement & Events at Morris provides an incredible opportunity for students to engage with their peers and explore life on campus beyond the classroom. This involvement offers near-limitless opportunities for students to put the principles they are learning in the classroom into practice in our real-world laboratory of citizenship. In addition, students learn and practice valuable leadership skills while developing and implementing programming for the campus.
Located on the lower level of the Morris Student Center, Student Engagement & Events is a one-stop resource for campus event planning, student organizations, programming, and reservations. We offer a wide variety of services to students and student organizations, supervise many campus-wide programs, and manage the operations of the Student Center and LaFave House.
Mission
Student Engagement & Events coordinates facilities, programs, and services that cultivate student co-curricular engagement and learning, foster a cohesive and supportive campus, and connect the campus and community through events, outreach, and the shared use of resources.
