Transportation Options

From biking and the Morris Transit to ride sharing and the weekend shuttle, Morris students are mobile low carbon travelers.

Morris Transit Service

During the school year, Morris Transit Service conveniently stops on campus on the hour and is a relatively inexpensive way to make your way around the community.

  • Fares are $1.50, Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m., from campus or if scheduled two hours in advance.
  • Fares are $3, Monday through Friday from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. and on Saturday, Sunday, or if not schedule two hours in advance.

You may also pick up a Punch Pass for $30 at the Information Desk in the Student Center.

Beginning May 13, hourly stops on campus will cease until classes resume in the fall. Customers are  welcome to call 320-580-1000 to schedule rides to or from campus. Higbies will still sell Transit tickets during their summer hours.

Weekend Twin Cities Shuttle

The Morris campus contracts with a local bus company to offer weekend shuttle rides to the Twin Cities area. This service begins operating during the fifth weekend of the fall semester and continues through the academic year. The shuttle does not run during winter break or summer.

Purchase tickets online

Tickets will only remain on sale until 2 p.m. of the departure day.

Departure Day (usually Friday)

On trips preceding breaks and holidays a stop at MSP Airport may be added.

Return Day (usually Sunday)

Note: Students are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of any departure. The bus will not wait. Pets and emotional support animals are not allowed on the bus.

Bus Service

Jefferson Lines picks up at the Pilot Center in Alexandria.

Greyhound has a stop in Willmar.

Airport Shuttle

Turner Transport Airport Shuttle Service offers private shuttle service from Morris to MSP airport. Call 218-770-6702.
