The Public Safety Department emphasizes crime prevention by minimizing crime opportunities and encouraging students and employees to be responsible for the security of themselves and others.
Public Safety works with the Morris Police and the Stevens County Sheriff as well as Residential Life, the Violence Prevention Program, and Student Counseling to provide education and crime prevention programs. Presentations, training, and pamphlets are available upon request to all faculty, staff, and students.
