Studio Vibes, the 2024 Juried Student Art Exhibition, will feature more than 60 works from majors and non majors who took part in studio art courses from spring 2023 to spring 2024. 

Keni Zenner, Learning Assistance Coordinator in the Student Success Center and TRIO Student Support Services is a recipient of the 2023-2024 John Tate Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Advising.

Chancellor Janet Ericksen is excited to roll out the “Degree in Three” program at the University of Minnesota Morris. 

Over $250,000 in competitive scholarships were awarded as part of 2024 Community of Scholars event.  

An application by Madison Carrington has been reviewed in the U.S. by the National Screening Committee and recommended to the host country for further review.

Jordan Cofer has been named UMN Morris's next vice chancellor of academic affairs and dean, pending approval by the University's Board of Regents.   

Mara Adamitz Scrupe is the Distinguished Visiting Professor in the Liberal Arts for spring semester 2024.   

For the past two years, the UMN Morris Office of Sustainability worked with the Stevens Soil and Water Conservation District office to craft the issue scenario for the  youth environmental education competition, called the Minnesota Envirothon.   

Exhibits by Rebecca Vaughan and Ziba Rajabi will open the spring semester in the Edward J. and Helen Jane Morris Gallery at the University of Minnesota Morris 

An international list of guest artists has been announced for the 43rd UMM Jazz Fest, planned for Friday, April 12, 2024.
