At UMN-Morris, we appraoch disability and the disability identity from a diversity and social justice model. We understand that everybody's body and mind are different. Not better or less than. We believe it's the environment and people's attitudes that need to change so that people are included and are able to fully participate. We believe in equity and social justice for disabled people. Lastly, we believe in one's multiple and intersecting identities.
