Transportation Options

From biking and the Morris Transit to ride sharing and the weekend shuttle, Morris students are mobile low carbon travelers.

Morris Transit Service

The Morris Transit Service conveniently stops on campus on the hour, and it’s a relatively inexpensive way to make your way around the community.

Fares are $1.25, Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m., from campus or if scheduled two-hours in advance.
Fares are $2.50, Monday through Friday from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. and on Saturday, Sunday, or if not schedule two-hours in advance.

Beginning on January 2, 2023, fares will increase to $1.50 per ride, Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. if scheduled two-hours in advance.
Fares will be $3.00 per ride, Monday through Friday from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. and on Saturday, Sunday, or if not schedule two-hours in advance.

You may also pick up a Punch Pass for $15 at the Information Desk in the Student Center. These will increase to $20 on January 2, 2023.

Rainbow Rider Service to the Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport

Rainbow Rider, a multi-county transportation service in west central Minnesota, offers rides from Morris to Alexandria on Mondays and Thursdays that can be coordinated with Groome Transportation shuttles to and from the MSP airport.

Greyhound Bus Service

Greyhound picks up from Alexandria.

Weekend TC Shuttle

The Morris campus contracts with a local bus company to offer weekend shuttle rides to the TC area. This service begins operating during the fifth weekend of the fall semester and continues through the academic year. The shuttle does not run during winter break or summer.

Note: Students are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of any departure. The bus will not wait. Pets and emotional support animals are not allowed on the bus.
