UMN Morris, Red Lake Nation College sign articulation agreement

Sue Dieter

University of Minnesota Morris chancellor Janet Schrunk Ericksen and Red Lake Nation College (RLNC) president Dan King met on the RLNC campus on June 5, 2023, to sign a transfer articulation agreement between the two institutions.

Students from RLNC will now have the option to transfer to UMN Morris to complete a baccalaureate degree. Benefits of an articulation agreement include a reduced chance of retaking the same coursework.

Ericksen is delighted to have this agreement finalized.  "President King and I share ambitions to change higher education success rates for Native American students, and I look forward to welcoming more of RNLC's graduates to the UMN Morris community."
