Sen. Klobuchar visits UMN Morris

U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar toured the University of Minnesota Morris observatory on Saturday, Oct. 12.  Physics faculty members Sylke Boyd and Zoey Harris shared details about the recent upgrades to the telescope done as part of the Kapemni Program, which was funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation.  

Klobuchar also visited with UMN Morris Chancellor Janet Schrunk Ericksen, Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs and Dean Jordan Cofer, and Vice Chancellor for Finance and Facilities Bryan Herrmann.
