The North Shore Adventure Park has hired University of Minnesota Morris graduate Colin Lynch, ‘12 as park manager for the 2021 season. Lynch has 10+ years of experience in customer relations, hospitality and the service industry.
“We appreciate Colin’s experience in quality control, systems compliance and emergency response,” Phil Huston, the park’s founder and general manager. “Adventure parks require managers who understand the need for rules and attention to detail.”
Lynch has worked as a dangerous goods specialist at FedEx, a wildland firefighter and as a project manager at an environmental testing company. He has a degree in environmental studies from UMN Morris, where he was captain of the rugby club. He grew up in the Merriam Park neighborhood in Saint Paul and is passionate about the outdoors. He completed a 400 kilometer mountain biking tour of Argentina while still in high school and is an avid runner and hiker.
“As someone who loves the outdoors and is a longtime veteran of the customer service industry, I’m very excited to join the North Shore Adventure Park team,” said Lynch. “I think it is a good blend with my environmental education and my job skills.”
