Post Office

The Morris campus mail system serves University students, faculty, and staff, and is not affiliated with the United States Postal Service. As part of the University community, we facilitate communications between and among the members of the campus community.

Every student is assigned a Mail Box upon registration; the number of this box should be noted on all incoming mail. We ask students to check their Mail Box and collect their mail regularly. Any changes of local address should be reported to the Post Office. When students move away, even for the summer, they should fill out a change of address form.

Outgoing, off-campus mail, is picked up by the USPS Monday through Friday at 1:30 p.m.

We provide service for USPS, UPS, FedEx (both Express and Ground), and SpeeDee for departments and students. There is a nominal fee for personal use of package vendors. Feel free to stop in; we can help you ascertain the best option for your shipment.

If you have an item that requires overnight service, we recommend using a vendor other than USPS, such as UPS or FedEx. Items sent via FedEx must be at the UMN Morris Post Office by 10:30 a.m., and those sent via UPS by 2 p.m.
