Education & Interests
Anna Jackson (she/her/hers) is from the Fond du Lac Reservation and grew up in Cloquet, Minnesota. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology and Native American & Indigenous studies, plus a history minor, from the University of Minnesota Morris.
While she was a student at Morris, Anna was involved in both biomedical research and archival research. The archival research focused on the history of the Morris campus and its boarding school period, with the goal of improving representation for Native Americans. The research about the Morris campus aligns with her goals of improving the experiences of Native American students at Morris.

Anna currently serves as the senior transfer pathway navigator and looks forward to providing current and future students with positive experiences.
