Transferring to the University of Minnesota Morris

Pathways from Two-Year Colleges

Transferring from a Two-Year College to the University of Minnesota Morris

We welcome students transferring to UMN Morris from two-year colleges and four-year universities to earn your BA here. We will work with you to help you understand how your credits from any accredited college or university will transfer

In addition, the University of Minnesota Morris has a growing list of established articulation agreements with Minnesota two-year community and tribal colleges formalizing the pathway to a four-year bachelor’s degree. You can seamlessly connect an AA and AS program there to a major for your four-year BA degree here.

An articulation agreement is a formal arrangement to transfer a defined set of academic credits between an academic program of one institution, most often a two-year post-secondary institution, to a program within a college or campus of the University of Minnesota System to fulfill general education or program requirements.
