The Office of Student Activities works with student organizations to help them manage their funds, and all fiscal transactions must be made through this office. Stop by the office to find out more about making a transaction, to get a copy of a current budget, or to ask for assistance managing your organization’s account.
The Office of Student Activities also works with the Activities Fee Review Committee (AFRC) to allocate student fees that fund organizations, and to provide funding assistance to all student groups. All approved student organizations are eligible to receive funding from the AFRC.
AFRC funds student organizations in two different ways: through annual funding for established groups and through a special fund called Assistance for Small Groups (ASG). ASG funds are available on a per event basis to registered student organizations that are not included in the annual funding process.
Student organizations may also raise their own funds independently. These fundraising projects must first be approved by the Director of Student Activities.
