UMN Morris theatre students excel at regional theatre festival

Four University of Minnesota Morris theatre students and Lucas Granholm, associate professor of theatre, were awarded Certificates of Merit at the Region Five American College Theater Festival (ACTF), held Jan. 18-24 in Rochester. 

Certificates of Merit recognize productions, faculty, and students whose work demonstrates exceptional artistry, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence that goes above and beyond standard expectations in a collegiate theatre setting.

UMN Morris students who received recognition include:

Parker Stach ‘27, Hoffman, received a Certificate of Merit in Stage Management for Junie B. Jones Is Not a Crook

Additionally, Lucas Granholm, associate professor of theatre, received a Certificate of Merit  in Directing for Terminator: The Musical.

 

Savana Hauck ‘28, Rogers, Olivia Emmrich ‘28, Rogers, and Stach were nominated for the Irene Ryan Acting Award.
