Procedures for COVID-19 Mitigation, Summer 2021
Based on current Minnesota Department of Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance, COVID-19 occupancy and distancing requirements have been lifted. The University encourages event planners to recognize that participants will have different levels of comfort in public settings and to consider options for participation.
Organizers are encouraged to:
- Host outdoor events when doing so is an option.
- Provide ample physical space and participation options for those who may not be comfortable being in close proximity to others.
For people who are not fully vaccinated, the University expects individuals to wear masks indoors. Fully vaccinated means it has been two weeks since the last vaccination administration in the required sequence. Information on assessing the risk of COVID-19 transmission is available from the Minnesota Department of Health.
Note: These guidelines are subject to change. The first priority of the University of Minnesota Morris is the health and wellbeing of our students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
