How To Vote
The state of Minnesota provides you with three reliable options for making your voice heard:
- If you have applied to vote absentee, follow these instructions.
URGENT: Courts have ruled that mailed ballots must arrive at the county election office/Secretary of State's office by 8 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3. Ballots mailed today or later may not arrive in time to be counted.
DO NOT MAIL YOUR ABSENTEE BALLOT!
You have three other options:-
Drop your ballot off at the county election office. Locations are listed at sos.state.mn.us/elections-voting/find-county-election-office/.

There are extended hours, including weekend voting, at in-person early voting locations. A list of locations is in the FAQ section of z.umn.edu/vote.

Vote on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3.

- You can vote before Election Day at an early voting location or the county election office.
- You can vote in person on November 3 at your polling place.
