Take it from a small liberal arts college graduate. A major in theatre can prepare you to succeed in any field by developing the following strengths:
- Improvisation: the ability to react quickly and effectively to any situation;
- Project management: working with multiple teams on tight budgets to produce a successful project;
- Interpersonal skills: allowing you to work effectively with a wide variety of people during highly concentrated efforts;
- Decision-making abilities: permitting you to make the tough choices when the risks are high and relationships are at stake.
