One of the primary virtues of the political science major at Morris is breadth.
The foundation of the major are two survey courses and a course in research methods.
Students then take elective courses in each of the subfields:
- American Politics
- International Relations and Comparative Politics
- Political Theory
Directed study and field studies credits may also apply towards the requirements for the major.
The curriculum is completed with a senior capstone seminar focused on independent research.
The political science minor may be accomplished by successfully completing 20 credits from the Political Science course offerings.
