German Career & Graduate School Opportunities

Knowledge of a world language can boost your career, whether you use it directly in your chosen field or not. In a 2004 survey of alumni of The American Graduate School of International Management (where world language study is mandatory), 82 percent of the respondents said that their world language ability provided them professional advantages, and even more, 89 percent, said the corresponding cultural skills gained benefited them in their work.

As a liberal arts degree, the German Studies diploma is versatile. Besides fields where German is a critical component of the job, Morris graduates have worked in radio, sales, education, public health, counseling, and other rewarding fields.
